Jaguar S type 3.0L Petrol
Drove one today and what a nice car. "Sandstone" interior but like the 75, let down by light oak dash. Comfy seats.

Jaguar S Type
This is the one you should get, it is without doubt the best S Type around
belongs to Ziggy72, and the interior is stunning, black and red leather, and 420 bhp Supercharged V8 I started my Jaguar ownership with a S Type XS with full body kit and lowered at factory https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...78&postcount=1 Then went to a Jaguar XF3.0V6 Diesel, and still own it, and it has been extremely reliable, and now also own a XKR convertible Stu Last edited by Fusilier; 21st July 2018 at 07:55.. |

Most of the Jags I have looked at had tinworm at relatively low ages (compared to the Rovers of similar age). I drove them at work and they are very comfortable. The early petrols were thirsty but the diesels ( who decided to put an oil burner in a Jag? William Lyons will be turning in his grave!) were economical.

What do folk think of the performance from the 3.0 Petrol in the s type? I fancy a late sport or XS spec.
I have driven the 2.7 auto a few times as my father in law owns one however although it pulls well in all gears and is ten times better KV6 I am not a fan of the oil burners. |

The 4.2 sport N/A petrol can be had for relatively cheap money and has 300 bhp as standard and uses little more fuel than the 3 litre if you want to stick with petrol.
