Free Car (Hustler 6 mini based kitcar)
Hi Guys
A member was due to take this but is no longer active on this forum and has failed to contact me about it, so I have on offer free to a good home a Mini Based Hustler 6 six wheeler kit car that is in need of complete restoration .. Only thing is that I do not want it to be broken for parts as it has sentimental value to me (it was built by my late brother in law) so it's not going on ebay. As often happens I was going to restore and use it, but although I have stripped and refurbished some parts I simply don't have the time or the space to complete it. Almost all the parts needed are standard classic mini so should be easy to find even now. Be warned you will need a trailer to move it but I can arrange help with loading Cheers Ian

I had one very similar a few years back...
But being serious, that's kind of you to offer it for nothing, hope it goes to a good home. |

Hi Ian...
My mates father in law is the head of the Thames Valley Mini Club... With its Mini connection, I will see if I can have a word with him and see if anyone he knows would be interested in such a project I would make it clear that it NEEDS to be restored and not just taken for parts... I am sure that someone from there could be interested Will let you know mate....

Knew the designer of these (William Towns) very well in my younger days, he also designed the wedge shaped Lagonda. He let me drive his Jensen Interceptor when I had just passed my test at 17!
