ZT horn button problem

My ZT "54 has one horn. The right hand button control has become very intermittant but the left hand button works perfectly, I am right handed so assume some wear ? maybe the reason. Is the button get at able, I assume it will be a build up of dust etc at best or what? Thanks for your time. Chris S.

The buttons are part of the steering wheel harness, two types.. cruise or non cruise, 10 mins to swap them over.
