Cool Both Banana and the Bear........................

.......................................... have had work carried out by Matt Darke.

Following on from the "Cam Belt Incident" Banana has had more work carried out.
New spark plugs and coil packs fitted.
New cam cover replaced.
Rear lip spoiler re-attached as it was letting in water.
Rear side trim was coming adrift. Now re-attached.
New drop links fitted.
The under bonnet fuse/relay box removed and all the contacts cleaned.
Internal boot release button changed for one that works.
2nd horn replaced after it stopped working.
The lower mounted DRL's had stopped working. The wiring had become brittle. These were originally fitted in 2013.
The halo's around the spotlights, plus the spotlights themselves, were also re-wired as the wiring was looking tired.
The front and rear disc's and pads were replaced. Last fitted in 2013 and the mileage was 128,500. Current mileage is 211,700.

The outside temperature sensor still is not working but will be looked at again next week.
Drivers door card needs replacing as the body shop broke the current one. We have another one to be fitted.
Couple other jobs still need doing.

The Bear has had the following jobs done,
2nd horn replaced as it had stopped working.
Headlights replaced with the one's out of Bumbles, the car was sold by Keith24 to Matt awhile back. around the headlights are halo LED's which were originally fitted by Rick-Sta. Whom we had to phone to find out about where the the live feed was. Rick gladly told Matt what to do.
The drivers side air bag connection had come adrift, so the light was on. Matt put a new connector in.

Job still to be done is the calliper's need painting.

All this work has been carried out over the last month with me driving back and forwards to Matt's place in either car. Gives them both a good run following the lock down.

Matt's wife Shirley has kept us fed and watered with lunch, dinner and endless tea.
