Cool

Morning everyone.

Normal service has resumed this morning, the sun is out and wall to wall blue sky.

Off up to Matt’s today, with the Bear, to get the windscreen washer pump sorted out, handbrake adjusted and have another go at sealing the headlight pod.

Had a furniture change round in the house yesterday. Got my Poppy display all in one place, and Banana’s trophies in another cabinet.

Very tiring but happy with the result.

Morning. Wet with a side order of wet this morning, ivy trimming suspended yet again. Heavy rain in the early hours, actually woke me up! Day three of five am rises, last one, shattered.

Her fault, she realised but by the time she did they were already en route.

Rain stopped a while ago, now fairly bright but the ivy is dripping wet. Will need a couple of days without rain (or fog for that matter) to dry it out again.

Have a safe and quiet fight Phil. And enjoy the Guinness

Morning All, morning Andy, thank you for your good wishes. The flight had lots of empty seats but KLM was being extra cautious.

At the start of the flight, the Co Pilot announced:

No standing in the aisle,

No walking up and down the aisle,

Face masks to be worn at all times,

Face masks to be put back on after eating,

No hanging around the toilets!

Morning Andy, thank you for your good wishes, the flight was comfortable. We got about 5 hours sleep which is pretty good going.

Today we are going out to get our bus passes so we can use the buses to get around Dublin. The self guided tour of the Guinness factory is about €18 each which includes a pint at the end of the tour.

The sun has just come out, around 17C. Alas we didn’t come to Dublin for the weather, ye have a great day

I could never sleep during a flight, even the aptly named long haul flights to/from the Philippines, dozing is the best I could hope for.

Afternoon all.

Back home after Quizzie's walk in the sunshine.

Should be dry all day so I can get on with some more outside stuff after I've been up in the loft to sort out the leaking ball valve on the cold water tank .

Enjoy the weekend, whatever you're up to.
