I have just revisited the Morris Minor Owners site after a long interval and there is a brilliant innovation whereby there is an 'upload' box on every
post box so that you just select any pic on your PC, click upload, and it appears in your post immediately. Very impressive provided that you don't
use it as an album for all your Rover pics! Is that feasible on our site?
Will save the repeated quests for advice on how to upload.

What a brilliant idea, I've wanted to put pictures on loads of times and it says to large or failed to download, It will never download pics from my PC.
I've tried to follow instruction from this site via photobucket and never succeeded since 2006.

Send suggestions/queries to Admin, that being Christopher and Pete.
Only they can make decisions.

This is not any kind of new innovation. On this forum software VBulletin the option is called manage attachments on the MM forum using phpBB3 the option is called upload attachment. They have their upload file limit set at the default 2Mb whereas this forum has it set at a low Kb. It's just a matter of how much traffic there is on the forum and how much storage space is available. That is a matter for the forum owners.

So in answer to your question the function is already there just set at a different upload size.

In phpBB the picture is inserted in the post, in Vbulletin the picture is uploaded to a storage area and a thumbnail link is inserted in the post.
