Please Vote........
That's it all doors knocked, thousands of leaflets delivered, many a debate on the door step and now after a full month it's done. I have three hours rest before I have to be at the count.
For all those who work so hard for free to get their party elected whatever the colour please go out and vote because it is so much hard work and for any other party activists who may also be members here good luck and yeah I will be having an extra hour in bed tomorrow.

Its simple to me.
If you don't vote then you lose the right to say how you think it should be done. Sorry, but thats how i see it.

I nearly voted BNP this morning
07:00 and I was half asleep and the sneaky BNP candidate had the same surname as the candidate I wanted to vote for. I suppose he would do really, the former is the son of the latter. It was very nearly in the ballot box before I realised. The electoral officer took twenty minutes on the phone to find out what to do in the case of a spoiled ballot paper. Anybody who knows me will certainly crease themselves laughing at the thought |

i disagree slightly, i voted today like many many other, but my wife decided not to cos she has the view that they are all crooks and charletans, one mp is as bad as the next, so who would she vote for, she doesnt want to be a party to any of the candidates getting in power, she used her vote by not voting, she votyed with her feet and imho thats her view and she is entitled to say "i told you so" when who ever gets in power cocks up, so in that respect, if you didnt vote cos you couldnt be bothered then NO, you dont have a say. BUT, if you didnt vote cos you think that all MP's are sharks and they are all out for themselves and it doesnt matter who gets in power cos they will still run the country into the wall, the YES you do have a say. thats my opinion and i am sticking to it.
