Thank you when I started I couldn't believe how many marks there were still plenty more than I thought on there now but hey Ho! I'm not pro and I don't have the time, inclination or ability to do it all as there a few that need paint and that's a whole different ball park!

wow how do you get a finish like that ? i have tried polishing mind by hand,two coats of collinite 476s but it still does not look like this

Rotary polisher with varying pads and meguiars 105 and 205, oh and a good day

Very nice.

I used Sonax cut and finish, which left a lot of holograms, did a fab job, followed by Sonax perfect finish to remove the holograms and tidy the finish up.

I can see the deepness of your shine, did you use a glaze?

I had a few holograms but I think that was more user than product because it was happening on the more difficult to control areas like the base of the doors and what not!
I used tripple after so it is a sort of glaze and a supernatural hybrid wax

So many different ways to achieve shine! I used this as more of a learning step than anything but obviously it has the benefit of an improved look on the car too

I do nearly everything on recommendations, and thanks to my shininess tutor so far.

I have a glaze to try, but haven't had chance to use it yet.

It is great having a dark coloured car, the shine looks so deep

Yeah, can definitely see your results, only trouble is its harder to keep that way!

Might I add that not just the polish makes a difference (and obviously the machine and your own skills), but you need to remove the polish afterwards. Some people buy proper polish, get good clay and lube to clay the car first, and then wipe off the polish with an old t-shirt or blouse...
That t-shirt or blouse just created the swirls and marks you are trying to get rid off.

And if you don't use a proper 2 (or 3) bucket wash method with a good shampoo, washmitt and drying towels. Those marks you spent so much effort on to remove, are just gonna be re-created.
And many of those people then just blame the polish...

Incredimitt for upper parts , sheepskin for lower parts and noodle mitt for wheels dry me crazy for drying and the microfiber madness plush towels for polish removal applied the tripple with gtechniq microfiber think it's m1 3m perfect ii pads too
they make your life so much easier when they're good, although they add up
