cam carrier sealer
hi all,
was wondering what you chaps recommend for sealing the cam carrier on a k series? used to use the locktight stuff but not sure if it's available these days. i know its got to be anarobic so not to block the oil ways. cheers.. Bill..... |

With a classic bike in the family I used to use Wellseal for alloy only joints which had gave ok results, but have changed to Hondabond recently which is just that bit more claggy, advanced and seals very well.
The thinnest of smears is required if you want to avoid any residue falling inside the engine. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/26283...8210941&crdt=0 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDABOND-...MAAOSwBahU22FW |

I use Stag Wellseal applied with a rubber roller, never had a problem with blocked oilways or leaks
