A lot of owners do seem to move to BMW for their replacement - I have to say, I do have a rather tatty 525d on the driveway and she does the job of 'tip car and load lugger' very well!

Enjoy the new car

Took me quite a while to find one with the high spec I wanted... and this one actually came in even better than I'd hoped! It actually met EVERYTHING on my want list (below), and it also has the Dakota Oyster cream leather, Heads Up Display, and 360 Surround View cameras!

2015 or later
Under 80k mileage
Estoril Blue
M-Sport Brakes
M-Sport Adaptive Suspension
XDrive 4wd system
Widescreen Pro Nav
Powerfold Mirrors
Reversing Camera
Harman/Kardon sound system

Hi Steve.
The BMW looks to be a nice car hope you have some good motoring years with it, another member Jon recently changed his MGZT for a BMW if he sees the thread, he may post up photo of it, in the meantime here is one of it at our last nano meet.

1

When I moved my MGZT on it was replaced with an FL2.

The FL1 TD4 has the same engine as our R40 diesel if members are interested

Your new BMW looks lovely. I bought a 5 series that was 3 years old, 3 years ago now with only 17000 miles when i bought it. I love it and have been all over with the caravan and had no bother. I hope you enjoy yours. However I still drive my battered 75 Tourer more miles than the BM each year..... 295000 now!

Unfortunately the BMW sale has fallen through... when they did the checks there was an issue with the turbo and one of the cylinders, so I won't be buying that one. I'm gutted.

Now I have to find another one...

What I dont understand is, Why were these "Faults" not found before the car was put up for sale?. Not a very good advert for the company to sell a car, Then find faults and then withdraw the car from sale and end up with a dissatisfied customer
