1.8 Leaky Cam Carrier

After a year of Cam Carrier remove, clean, reseal with loctite, refit, still leaking...... I finally found a miracle cure, Normfest Orange from Eurocarparts. It has very similar properties to loctite, anaerobic, doesnt block oilways, etc, the big difference is, it's slightly thicker and thixotropic, it doesnt run or drip on inverted or sloping surfaces. I was able to coat my cam carrier and then flip it over and fit it, it also has the added advantage of being able to fill gaps of up to 0.5mm. I'm now the owner of a completely leak free 1.8 K Series, it doesnt lose any oil or water.
I'll be keeping a container of this in my glues and solvents cupboard in future.
