Hi
Just to clear things up, when you say the caravan is too heavy, are you just refering to your car's engine, and not the actual kerb wieght of the car?? I would recommend the 2.0ltr diesel, wth or without the "Ron Box", however having said that it's next on my must have list  I tow a 5 berth around with mine and no problemo, great car.
