What you really need is the one horn to complement the one you have So if the one fitted is Hi tone, you need the low tone, or vice versa

Doesn't work that way sadly. The twin horns work at 400 & 500hz. The single one is much lower than the lower twin and would probably sound like Noddy's car with a sore throat.

Parp parp

Oh man, I've just sent payment for a pair to another member! That would've been handy too. Thanks though.

You threatened that with the bonnet latches too. I've not looked yet - is it a bumper off job?

Dougie.
The single tone horn is still the 400hz one if it's a BOSCH one or later cars seem to be 405Hz FIAMM.

I don't think it makes that much different but I fitted a pair of BOSCH ones when I upgraded mine to twins.

Not that bad a job to do with the bumper off, I had the correct loom - just fiddly to get at some of the fixings around the radiator fan, and took me a while to work out how to unplug the connector on the bonnet switch until I realised the switch comes out.
