Default "Mann" brand Filters

Has anyone else used these? I used a set of "Mann" branded filters for my CDT, the air filter and oil filter were fine but both the pollen and fuel filters gave me trouble.

The pollen filter just wouldn't sit right even after an hour moving it around, got it in in the end but it's still not fitting very well. The fuel filter wasn't great either. It was a lot smaller than my old filter, about 10-15mm shorter in height, but even worse it was about 10mm smaller on the radius of the filter meaning no matter how tight I made the clamp it wouldn't hold the filter properly. Luckily I had an old bike inner tube which I wound around it to hold it in place

I've used them on my old ZS TD without issue, but not tried their 75/ZT stuff.
I tend to stick to selling what I know - no issues reported such as yours with the kit I dish out.

I had a Mann oil filter for my CDT that was a tight fit on the housing mounting spigot. I used the screw on cover to push it down but ended up distorting the filter element.

I replaced it with a halfords one, which was a different design and worked great.

A subsequent Mann one was better than the first, but I won't buy one again.

I use the genuine pollen filters. They are expensive but some start cheap enough on eBay auctions, and a worth a bid.
