My son, daughter-in-law and grandkids are in Looe the week before we arrive, so they'll be sussing out the lay of the land in advance and reporting back
I've even discovered a couple of shops which sell gluten-free Cornish Pasties for SWMBO - AND a café which offers GF Cornish Cream Teas - that should add to our waistlines - and my blood sugar level

I'm arriving here on Monday 9th June for 2 weeks Thomas - spending the first week of June at Cirencester on the way down - and then a week at Hereford on the way home. I leave home on the 2nd June - and don't return until Monday 30th

I'll happily meet up if we can - do you do delivieries to caravan sites

Will make contact nearer the date

is there any wonder my blood sugar level is a bit "borderline"
You have a chance now Rod to stave off Diabetes by having a change of diet and looking at weight and exercise. I know I am a spoil sport. It will save you having to progress onto Diabetic medication and more blood tests at a later date, plus all the complications which Diabetes has on ones health, if you are able to make those changes. How dare I go there, you might say. As I am borderline, I am also in the same boat

You're absolutely right Phil (as usual) - I've already taken evaporated milk and honey off today's shopping list - and I'm going to wean myself off the squeezy syrup on my porridge - it won't be the total answer, but a few small steps in the right direction
