There you go David. Get yourself a Rover 75. You know you want to.

Things have improved over the last few months. The family is sick again but just with seasonal colds this time.
One of the rear windows on my ZT-T failed a week ago and the parts have just arrived. Nice quick mail service. Only a week from Germany to the West Coast of Canada, so I have a project for tomorrow. There seems to be good access to get the window lift out so I am hoping it will go well. The car will still be in use over the winter but I do have a short list of projects to do including a gearbox oil change, engine oil and filter, sparkplugs and the inevitable handbrake mod. I should really pull out the left rear spring and de-ruse and repaint the spring pan as it really is the only rust on the car, but that will again depend on motivation!

Suggest trying it with the MAF unplugged before spending any cash. I had similar with one of mine.

Living in Canada the only 75/ZT parts available here are spark plugs and wiper blades so everything else has to be shipped across the Atlantic. Regular post usually takes 8-10 days (I just ordered some small parts from Germany and they got here in 7 days) If you are in a hurry a parcel service can get the box to you in 3 days. Sure, there is a cost to shipping but if it solves the problem it's worth it.

Hi Paul. I think you are reading that David still has his Rover 75 diesel he if now referring to his CV jap car. In which case David i would get a second hand throttle body from the scrap yard and see how you go from there.

That was one of the first things I considered, so I bought a new one. Thankfully they're readily available over here, so I didn't have to wait long for it to turn up.
The throttle body has been dispatched from Philadelphia after passing customs checks, so hopefully I won't have to wait too long for that to arrive, then it's off to Eurofit to have them both installed.
