Thing is mac, if it was working but packed in, PCB repair, and job done (if the glowplug is ok). You could just fit the repaired PCB and chance it, as I said it is 50/50, most water pumps used on a vehicle are fine, because some have not worked for years, and when the Webasto worked, not used much in winter etc. For all you know it could have spent 10 years on a boat, used hour after hour every day, they are used all year round for shower and hot water too. After all it is a micro fossil fuel burning combi boiler.

Here is the PCB from a dandy little number I was sent for repair. From a Freelander the owner used to take wading.




Yeh right. My guess was one of the faults was a blown fuse.

The plastic caps were ok though, so not a total loss.
