Default NS driveshaft removal/ replacement - circlip

I noticed that i had some gearbox oil leaking from the nearside seal when I was replacing the PAS return hose a couple of weeks ago.
I have ordered a new seal and some gearbox oil.
Haynes states that the retaining circlip should be replaced when refitting.
What is the consensus on this?
Does anyone know the size or where I can get one if it is necessary?
I could not see it on DMGRS unless it is the same as the one for the CV joint and for some reason I cannot get into the Rimmers site this morning.
Just want to get all in place for when I get a chance to take it.
