ENDED UP REALISING IT REALLY ISN'T PRACTICAL NOT HAVING A CAR TO GET AROUND AND I NOW OWN A VW EOS 3.2 V6 INDIVIDUAL (1 OF 20 REMAINING IN THE UK WITH THAT ENGINE AND TRIM COMBO) EVEN THOUGH I STILL LIVE ON A BUSY ROAD WITHOUT A DRIVE

Fitted new (previously loved) driver's door actuator. Not as bad a job as expected.

Replaced missing undertray clips.

Removed and cleaned maf and map, for no good reason than it seems a little sluggish off the mark. I #think# it is more responsive now.

Fitted new (previously loved) battery cover.

Cleaned contacts on airbag connectors under Driver's seat as light has been coming on occasionally (wifey and I moving seat all the time).

Checked plenums, no problems.

Got to keep on top of these little jobs!

Really satisfying when you are able to spend the day getting a list of jobs done, love it when I'm able to do the same. Well done mate.

Fitted a genuine front hub pinch bolt.
When I replaced the old arm, the bolt really didn't want to come out.
Destroyed it doing so, and had to go to a bolt supplier who came up with a 'by eye' equivalent. Had a knocking from that side which has now been cured by the correct bolt.

If you follow the excellent how to by Rick-Sta you really cannot go wrong, I fitted mine last Month and had to make a loom up.

Changed coolant cap Orings,
Crankcase breather filter o ring and seals replaced.

Replaced a rather soggy pollen filter(sat in about 2 inches of water.Cleared debris from drain hole,(found a use for extendable magnet) Only wish I had seen thread on spyhole before put all together. Never mind another time

Went to fit an internal boot switch- no wiring. I'll be wiring that in myself then...

Also started thinking about fitting the towbar I picked up from the scrappy yesterday for a bargain £40; time to get some more heat shrink and solder.
