Default Radio

Keith,

Do you still have that original Rover 75 boot radio £75? I'm collecting some stuff.

See my thread: http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=3629

Regards, Ralph

Not that particular one no, I sold that to someone whose radio had died after his boot filled with water

The one I now have on Ebay is the same model though if you want to bid on that I will send you an invoice with revised postage to Holland but I guess postage will be around £15

I don't have the TV Tuner you are after and you might find the plastic cover would work out cheaper from a dealers as it is very big to post so will probably cost silly money

Do you still have the radio Keith or was yours the one that went for £101?

I've bought a Hi-line system but it only has the head unit, navcomp and gps unit. Am I right in assuming it need a radio module as well?

Yes you will require one Simon.
Also look out for the BMW BM24 Radio a better bet than the Rover one and a straight swap, or with a bit of work the BM54 by far the best one available IMHO.

I have a 4:3 screen display unit, a mk3 computer unit with 2002 disc in it and a 4:3 tuner unit for sale. I was going to put them on ebay soon but thought id mention it on here first. These all came out of my 2002 75 tourer which ive upgraded.

What's the part number of the Rover one John? (Alpine?)

Is the BM24 around the same price as the Rover one?

I take it fleabay is the only place they're likely to crop up. Keith's is the only radio I've ever seen for sale anywhere.

No point in fitting the high-line if it hasn't even got a radio!

Ironically the Rover radio I sold was bought by a guy with a BMW 320!

He has not even got a nav harness yet chances are the one he gets will have flat pins for the radio connector so he probably won't even use the Radio I sold

Simon just type in BM24 or BM54 in the ebay search window only one a BM54 for sale at the moment but bare in mind if you go for the BM54 you are looking at £75 for adapter leads unless you get a custom nav harness from Kuftec

Hello amableson,

I'm intrested in the 4:3 radio tuner and the 2002 disk. Do you still have them? Can you change language to dutch?

Regards Ralph

The 4:3 tuner is a tv tuner only and the 2002 disc is genuine but a new map disc would be better the mk3 sat computer i have is not upgradable and to get dutch you would need the firmware upgraded so you would be better to buy a mk4 unit off ebay.

Andrew Mableson.
