Default Help. Iv'e lost my bong.

Hi.
It was there one minute and now it's gone. I'm talking about the bong you get if you leave your light's on and exit the car. I cant understand it the only thing i have done recently is change the head unit. It cant be that can it?. Hope someone can help me get it back..

Did you switch off in the sequence that allows the headlights to stay on for about 30 seconds?, can't remember what the mode is called.

Cheers
Tony

Bong is to do with lights left on not "follow me home" lights.

Start with a battery reset......procedure below if you have sat nav...and check you have a radio code if required.

Check you have the radio code ( IT may not require one as they weren't always activated)

Disconnect the battery earth lead for 20 mins.....and reconnect.

Known to clear a multitude of faults.
