Cool

Morning all from damp Saltash.

Took my guests to Par market yesterday, on the outskirts of St.Austel. It is a large market but all under cover. There is a separate food hall. I like coming here as they have a terrific cheese counter. Love trying all the different varieties.

I have forgotten what it's like to visit a market with two women, they stopped at every stall, and as for those selling clothes, oh! My!
Emma, being a seamstress, was picking "holes" in some of the workmanship. 'Not finished or loose cottons or wrong colour buttons', and so forth.

We stopped for lunch at the Moo Moo cafe. We all had cheese, just ordinary cheddar, sarnies. Emma and I had a coffee but Ann went for the Banana milkshake.

We left the market laden with bags of 'stuff' including fruit, cheese, clothes and other knick knacks.
Dropped into B&M's in Saltash, like a Woolworths but bigger. And again they trawled up and down the aisles, we started with a basket but ended up with a trolley full of more stuff. Looks like I'll have to hire a van to take everything they have bought home. Worse still we are off to Trago Mills today but the Cornish one.

We was out to dinner last night with Allen and Val. Yet another eating establishments for me to try, "The Hunting Lodge" it's on the A38.

Still the bonus is I'm using the Bear, seeing as Banana has spat her dummy out, again.

Morning everyone, morning Bob, you deserve a medal for going shopping with two women

It's markedly cooler here this morning, even got condensation on the inside of the bedroom window.

It's dark dank & dismal here.

Morning Freddie, He took a turn for the worse again yesterday and was out of it shaking uncontrollably.

Got to take mam for a hospital appointment the other side of Wigan (Wrightington) shortly which will be a long appointment.

Not too good, she's panicking & not sleeping/eating properly. Going to take her shopping & get her hair done after the hospital appointment to take her mind off it for a bit.

Hope that helps keep her mind of it for awhile.

Morning, not long up, was giving a statement to the Police at about half midnight! Starting to get ready for bed last night, back door open so the girls could go out for a pee. About quarter to midnight I heard a car horn, thought some intellectual was driving past the cottages with his hand on the horn button. Went on too long for that so had a look. Some a-holes had set a, presumably stolen, car on fire along the road near the mining museum. Phoned the fire service, got the dogs in as the smoke drifting here was foul. Fire and Police arrived, once the fire was out the Police came along. Very surprised to see the burnt out car has been removed already.
