I eat very little Jeff, usually toast in the morning then maybe something light in the evening. A large meal can bugr me up the following day.

Cool

Morning everyone. The storm is with us with gale force winds and horizontal rain.

Hospital appointment tomorrow at the fracture clinic at Derriford Hospital. And I’m looking forward to going. Getting fed up hopping about. Got pains in my shoulders and back. But I mustn’t complain. The social services have been diamonds along with the nurses. And as for my neighbours they have been truly amazing.

Morning (again). Wasn’t that bad when I was up earlier, bit cold, light rain but it’s wild now. Very strong wind and rain battering off the windows.

Rain has eased and the wind has died down. Got the recycling to sort out, didn’t put it out last week because it was so windy but can’t avoid it this week, basically got two weeks worth of plastic and glass.

Timed it to perfection. Went out, started sorting the recycling, 30 seconds later the heavens opened again See if it’s just a passing shower.

It was, recycling out.

So nice to have friends and willing helpers about, Bob.
I am sure tomorrow's visit will be encouraging.

What a wild wet day it's been, It's dumped a shedload of rain & still raining. I dread going into the garage as I've just got it dried out.

My Xmas prezzie I bought myself has just arrived, A Japanese Nakiri style knife & boy is it sharp.

Having just watched the Scottish news I'm not moaning about the weather here. Further north and west have been thumped, 80+mph winds, rain, flooding, miles of traffic stranded on the A9 due to snow.

There's one less Scotrail HST Power Car after hitting a tree brought down by the wind at Broughty Ferry.

Driver gets bugr all protection in one of them, its all fibreglass. Report said he/she was uninjured, must have spotted the tree early enough to dive into the engine compartment.
