had a email from our travel agent today offering a full refund, so as long as that goes ok, 95 % of our ruined April trip to the USA is resolved.
Stuck for actual times we can go so really hoping to rearrange for October 20 or April 21 , but we will see . My company has closed for 3 weeks at the moment , so time to do all those lil jobbies . Family all sorting out the Isolating routines for the foreseeable future. take care all Chris

I had an email yesterday from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office telling me to return home immediately. The last flight for EU and British citizens leaves Nairobi at 10pm tonight for Amsterdam. From Amsterdam, passengers have to rebook to any of the UK airports. After midnight tonight, Kenya’s borders are closed. We won’t be on that flight, as we are going to be staying on. We have the warmth, the sunshine, the forest, a garden and we will be opening up more of it for crops and vegetables. We are fairly self sufficient having the small holding with the usual farm animals, but my D. implants will have to wait Positive thoughts to you and for your family. |
