Default Heated seat base not getting warm

Hi everyone, getting a few jobs done while we're on lockdown. Passenger seat isn't getting warm so replaced the stat and it's all good now, drivers seat the seat base isn't working, the seat back is working fine. Seat only has 1 stat so replaced it.... Backs lovely and warm but still nothing on the base! Plugs and connectors fine etc

Can anyone shed some light? I think it's my filememt which is an open circuit, if I'm correct where can I get a new seat base from?

what stat did you buy?
How far into the back is the stat?

I have the same problem but not a job I want to tackle, more need to tackle

if only it were that easy as just typing it into ebay, come on mate be a bit more specific.

agh there is another thread I've just remembered, something about normally open or normally closed.

I'm so dumb I have an item in my watch list from the other thread
