Blimey, I'm getting in trouble today! ;-)

(Came back to this thread from an email notification and didn't realise that it had become an "all encompassing pet's corner" thread.... Thought it was still Phil's "New Puppy" thread)

And here you have the perfect vehicle to express you opinions on their actions and how they affect their owners.. Pets that is not wives, that'll have to be another thread.

Hi Phil.

Congrates on your newest family member, i am sure you will have years of fun together. The best advise i can give you is....

Inform your neighbours to explain you have a new puppy and state you are training the pup and their could be some barking for the first week and apologise.

Leaving Oscar for the first time, do not make a fuss that you are going out. Do not leave Oscar for prologed periods at this stage, 15 mins first day, 30 mins second day etc etc. Make sure he has plenty of things to occupy him such as a radio left on, toys such as a KONG filled with KONG PASTE or such like, maybe a rolla treat ball, if you are using a crate same applies. When you return make sure you make a big fuss of him and reward if he's been good.

hope this helps, any problems please pm me, its my job lol

dac

Persever and remember you are the boss not Oscar.
