Both of these jobs are suitable for a DIY approach with few tools required, the belt is available from Mat at DMGRS on this forum for under £7 new / you don't really want a used silver resistor, but a new gold resistor again available at little cost forum trader Jules - total DIY cost less than £25 + p&p / typical garage labour cost at least £50 an hour for a small local garage and estimated 2-3 hours work likely will be quoted.
There are How To's for both available on this forum.

Change both belts - not really worth the effort to change one and use good quality ones. Gates is a good name and you can get them from any car parts emporium. I have a homemade special spanner for free loan, which makes this job much easier. The silver resistor was not really up to the job, everyone uses an uprated gold version. It is a standard part, but most easily sourced from Jules. The latter is a front bumper off job, so might be worth doing the intercooler O rings at the same time and possibly the intercooler hose(s) as well.
