I was out earlier, grabbed some discounted (dated today) fish pieces intended for a fish pie. Originally four quid a pack, reduced to 95p! Green Thai fish curry tonight.

The missus is just back from the vets with our old cat Ernie, He's still hangin' in there, He's well grumpy with a blue bandage on his leg where they took a sample. more pills & potions and we've got to get a sample of his pee

Made Ros and I Shepherds Pie for dinner with extras to put in the freezer for later

We have a recipe for shepherd’s pie, made with vegetarian mince, contains tin of chopped tomatoes, tomato piree, a pinch of chilli powder(optional,); onion, vegetable stock, worcseter sauce, mushrooms ,a carrot and mashed potatoe

Apart from mine has lambs mince and also HP Sauce it's pretty much the same

Doesn't have to be too spicy, you can adjust it by how much of the curry paste you use. I find Mae Ploy Thai curry paste is the best, available green red or yellow, get it in most supermarkets. I've never tried the yellow, not a lot of places keep it. I use the paste as a base and odd my own tweaks.

Not looking forward to tomorrow, bleedin' ultrasound scan. Can't eat or drink after high noon. I don't care what the instructions say, I can't survive from high noon to possibly eight at night without caffeine!
