CDTi high pressure fuel pump

Think I need a new one
Prices on eBay vary from £200+ down too unbranded for as little as £30
Any recommendations
Will probably buy the seal kit and look at fixing , but keep it for a backup

Contact Mickyboy on here for a second hand one - they are usually pretty much bullet proof so no need to buy new.

Hi Mick
Didn’t start straight away when I left work, then after filling up at Tesco had to push it off the forecourt , eventually started .
Booked in for mot Friday at 2 pm fingers crossed we get there and back
Will get back to you and maybe you could check the pressure just to make sure

Les if the pump isn't producing enough pressure then try a leakback test - usually it is one or more leaking injectors causing the pressure drop.

Is your in tank LP fuel pump working?
