Is it possible to download and burn a movie or a TV episode from iTunes onto a DVD using a mac laptop?

Thanks

I found the answer and it relates to copyright protection laws. 3rd party software is available. DVD's can be used to back up the data. A DRM code protects the Data on the DVD from playing a movie / TV show. The 3rd party software prevents the code from kicking in. I can't say anymore than that. It was an interesting piece of research.
