Fuji S5600 focus error

Anyone had this happen before? Power up camera, I get a double bleep and FOCUS ERROR appears on the screen.

I rang a local shop who said they could send it back to Fuji but that would cost £140, so before I go out and buy a new camera, any one know if its a cheap or easy fix?

Have you tried looking at the FAQs on the Fuji website?
