Default Topping up broadband dongle?

Hi hopefully an easy question. I am trying to top up a tmobile broadband dongle on line and it's not recognising my number. The number is listed with 44 at the front and then ten figures following

What do I replace the 44 with to make it a recognisable number!

Thanks for any help

Ken

+44 is usually for UK? normally just a 0 instead (not sure if it's the same for the dongles though)

I googled it and tried a 0 and then two 0s and just about every combination I can but the top up site doesn't recognise it as a legit number.

I will have to ring them

Thanks for your help

I allus thought top up dongles were a rip off.

Anyways.

Mobile numbers are 11 digits long.

So, discard the 44, just stick a 0 infront of the first 7. Which will give you 11 digits.

I had done that before and it didn't work but this time I did and it worked!

Now this is where you can call me thick but I realised what I had done wrong. Like most other things I just copy and pasted the number over and then changed the 44 to the 0 but the website wasn't accepting the copy and paste number. As soon as I typed the number in it worked.

Never too old to learn are we

Thanks Tatts

Ken

Ps a rip off yes but when virgin media goes down its a godsend. £2 a day or £7 for a week if needed. I very rarely use it but it's there if needed Last time I used it was for three days and Virgin gave me £20 credit that month!
