Default Auction prices

I visited British car auctions at Blackbushe today and very little in the way of MGs and Rovers for sale

But there was a 53 plate 1 owner Royal Blue 2.5 Connie se there with a warranted 19,000 miles from new, it did look and sound very nice and did not appear to get much attention when parted, but as soon as it was started and was going through the auction hall interest rose considerably. It went for £3000 + whatever the premium is on that amount. There was a car dealer next to me who bid up to £2900 so he saw its potential. Did not get to see who bought the car, but it was in a sale of cars which had been traded in at Colbourne garages who are a VW/Audi dealers. The reg number if it crops up is LJ53 JDO.

It'll be on the forecourt for a long time then... V8's, diesels and ZTs are all available for much less than that, and they are all meant to command a premium over a petrol 75 (and particularly over the V6 as it's thirsty and fuel prices are high, so demand is lower).

£4,500 top whack I'd say. And only that high because the mileage is low...

That was what I was kind of thinking, the car did look good though
