Default Mobile phone sending message on its own

Noticed this recently on my Nokia E72, when it is turned on it is sending a message automatically shortly after turning on.

It sends to a number 888508000, but disappears once sent so no idea what is contained within this.

This definately didnt used to happen so am a bit concerned as to what my phone is doing.

Anyone know?

Has my phone got too smart for its own good, it is not very clever most of the time I am using it

clear all messages from every where, spam, email, sms, drafts, sent box etc, it's designed to cost you money, can you block the number

Did that and it is still sending, think the number is 8885080000, it goes very quickly and is hard to see, can I stop the phone from sending texts temporarily in order to catch it?!

Do you know what the purpose of the text is?

Cheers

Thanks for the sugggestions so far...

I have reset the phone so everything was deleted, deleted everything off it and it still does this...

I have removed the memory card as well and it still does it.

If I set phone to offline, it doesnt try and send, but sends the second it comes on line again.

Checked my bill and messages arent showing up on bill so I am not getting charged for anything,

It is all a bit weird, phone is coming up for change soon, so I will be ditching Vodafone and trying something else, I have found vodafone less than satisfactory to say the least.

Any more ideas?

Cheers
