Lenovo.
I have a Lenovo A1-07 tablet and I currently have 963 e.mails in my e.mail account, it's taking ages to delete them singly. Can I delete them all at once?. Thanks, John.

Had a similar problem on my Sony tablet with gmail, had loads of email in the recycle bin and no way to empty it.
Found out I had to access gmail from my computer, select all then delete forever, seem to remember something to do with it only being an app on the tablet. Android not my most favourite OS . HTH .

Go to google web page. (the one when you do a search will do fine). Along the top menu bar is "Gmail". Select it and log in.
If Gmail is not listed on the top menu bar select "more" and look for it there. Hope this helps and you don't mind me poking my nose in. Edit: Top leftish is a drop down box and you can select "all", then delete them. Last edited by Rocket; 15th February 2013 at 12:54.. |

This is a limitation with the gmail app, nothing to do with Android itself, its the same on iOS. Either do it via a PC or use another email app, and login to gmail that way. You could also do this via the gmail site from the Android browser.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I am sorry for the delay in getting back but every time I log on it either does not recognise my e.mail address or my password, I have changed my password a dozen times in the last few days. All I want is one e.mail address and one password but I end up going round in circles. I give up now. Many thanks for the help. John.
