I thought China are GMT+8, currently we are 7 hours behind at the moment, but with next weeks daylight saving, that will make the 8 hours.
8:00am in the UK, would be 3:00pm in China.

Last week the price change would happen during the mornings between 8:00 & 9:00am UK time. The total orders now show 77, this was the same total as yesterday, so it looks like the deal may have finished.

How weird - I was just going by the various time stamps from light in the box and PayPal.

PayPal says payment 08.36 bst ( which is right ) and light in the box says payment made 12.36am (which is 8 hours difference but the wrong way )

So assuming the time stamps are right I wonder if theres an office in the States somewhere dealing with the payments etc. Sort of makes sense given the fact that these lightning deals are for the thanksgiving holiday and would start / change crack of sparrows for the Yanks.

I agree, it looks like their US address is in Seattle, and their China address Beijing. One of my orders paid via PayPal is 16 hours behind going by my order details on the merchants website.

I'm not convinced this deal is genuine I've now had 3 tracking numbers, all are working when using the China tracking websites, but there has been no update since 21st.

I've just checked the UPS tracking number on the UPS website, it states 'A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated'. So it does look like the tracking number is genuine, but anyone can create a label, its whether the merchant forwards the parcel for collection/shipment.

The UPS information also states parcel weight is 0.50kg, that is a bit strange considering the Double Din unit weighs 2.4kg. I reckon this may just be a con, 0.50kg would be a perfect weight for a DD empty box. LOL

You roll the dice...snake eyes!

To be fair the majority of people who have managed to get an order seem to be a little sceptical. I most certainly am.

We will just have to wait and see. If it turns out all OK then we've had a result. If it doesn't then we've lost £25 if PayPal or the CCC can't sort it out.

People may want to take a screen-shot of their orders, also save your order email etc.

I've sent them an email asking them to explain the discrepancy in the products weight against the UPS parcel details.

Maybe I won't have one of yours Wes

Worth a punt tho. But maybe not 3, will be interesting to see how this develops. Good Luck all.

Still more than happy with my original one ( 7010B model) and even bought another for the motorhome, both working fine.
