Do you realise how much spam I've had to post in your absense? 4 pages of nonesense on one thread alone! Selfish, just selfish..

Seriously though, I've known a couple of people afflicted in the same way, and it's decidedly unpleasant.. Glad you're on the up and up, chap..

Oh dear, our fragile human bodies, so amazing but so annoying and it seems so unfair! But like you say we all have our cross to bear. I'm glad you're feeling better and expect double posting to make up for your absence!

Unfortunately not so, Only now since Tuesday is a computer screen clear enough to read and the keyboard still enough to operate .

Still, we all have our cross to bear and hopefully this is a once only blip, you never realise how fragile your health is until you no longer have it.

sorry stocktake to 'ear (pun) that you have menieres. i know that the pun is not really funny, i will explain why.
my wife has developed it.we were going to drive down through france to naples in italy in 2006.we went shopping in birmingham, and suddenly my wife said that she didn't feel very well, started to fall over with her eyes going round and round, just managed to stop her hitting her head on the floor.

it took us about half hour to walk back to the car, quarter of a mile, where she sat for about 20 minutes before we started off, very slowly.we had 6 miles to go.
we had to stop half way for her to "ill" outside the car, thanks for that love.
when we got home, she sat in the car being ill for about half an hour before she could face walking the ten steps to the house.
she now has medication for it, and touch wood, all has been well upto now.
all in all, not a very nice thing to suffer with. you have my sympathy stocktake

Sorry to hear that you are not in the best of health. I have never suffered from any balance disorder, lots of other things but not that it must be hell at times. Take care and look after yourself.

Best wishes
