My misses is currently learning to drive , The instructor allows her to make a mistake and then tells her what she did wrong. Now I know it's hard to stop someone from making a mistake but sometimes (And it's not just her) the carnage that this can leave in the wake is most annoying.

But what can they do to stop you making a mistake than tell you when you do one so you don't do it again.

Unfortunately I live on one of the local tet routes so we see all sorts of 'funny' incidents. Especially on a Tuesday when the refuse is collected on a two way single lane road.

load of c**p all this not indicating.
another thing that gets up my wick is:learners under instruction? who, on entering a dual carriageway from a road on your left, pull into the outside lane, slowly accelerate for 1-2 miles to round about, and then go round roundabout and into the first lane straight on.
its the instructors that need a test if you ask me.
Easy you should always physically check the blind spots by looking over you shoulder, especially for bikes.

Plus you should be looking in the mirrors constantly so you know what is behind you.

This is still taught as 5 of my lot have learn't to drive in the last 3 years.

Like Steven said it's more to do with common sense!!

From my experience, the Spanish don't know what indicators are.. Or parking spaces...
