Default Rather Special ZT-T SE 190 Tourer

Really delighted to pick this car up - my 3rd tourer.

I had a trusty Connoisseur SE CDT with highline for about 7 years, which I took to 200k miles, then not long ago came upon a pristine low mileage '54 1.8 Conny SE which I thought would be a keeper (no longer doing many miles so diesel not required).

However, I then came across this car, and it's gorgeous! It's a low miles '54 ZT-T SE 190 which started life as an MG Rover press car (and has only had one owner since), so the spec is gobsmacking. I had no idea that the equipment levels on the ZT-T SE were higher than the Conny and Contemporary models until last week!

On top of the already impressive ZT-T SE equipment list like Highline Satnav, cruise, sunroof, Xenon headlamps, park sensors, power wash, 18” alloys etc, it has the 'SE Pack' addition with powerfold mirrors, seat memory, Harmon Kardon premium stereo . . . and just about the only two options left after that, traction control and Sony rear roof-mounted TV screen with 6-disk DVD player. I understand there may have only been 8 or 9 cars ever fitted with those (but stand by to be corrected). Everything works perfectly and it drives like a dream!

Not cheap but I was willing to pay forecourt price because I just couldn't resist the car, love everything about it, apart from maybe a disappointing low/midrange torque delivery from the motor, but that's just the way they are.

Looks like a lovely example with an outstanding spec. I like the very colour of Royal Blue on these and with that interior, it's pretty special.

Nice car, My Aurora ZT-T190SE had the Roof DVD & Harmon/Kardon, seat memory but no powerfolds but it did have the Monogram paint & Monogram Nappa cream leather.

I viewed a V8 ZT-T at the weekend that was an SE with SE option pack but no roof DVD but it did have the Monogram Posiedon paint.

Cheers guys, - if it's only over in Doncaster and so close to Sheffield, I'll be there, though perhaps only for an afternoon. I don't now the V6 motor at all, not heard of vis motors . .. . . can find ****** all either on Google or searching the forum.
Is it something to do with one of those intake manifold flappy setups?

Think that V8 is still on eBay - considered it but was put off by the paint. If you get one of those cars, don't go needing paint. It's about £600 a litre. But - and this is really bad - the suppliers don't have the pigments any more, so they'd need to order in 4 or 5 pigments, at £600 a litre each before they can make up a litre of paint. Makes for a big repair bill if you ding a panel . . . .

That spec is almost worth giving up Firefrost for.
