Afternoon all, a lively day down here now, last night's wind brought some branches down, opefully tats the last of the wet stuff as I'm supposed to be riding at the weekend, any more water and it'll be cancelled,

By ek the temps have dropped like a stone now, I've just been out to the greenhouses to cover the plants with sheets of bubble wrap. Clear skies & that carpet of hailstones is still lying on the ground & turning to ice.

FINALLY managed to nail down an appointment with the mob that deal with visas for Italy. Took about two weeks of checking their website every 20 minutes or so. Thankfully its the Edinburgh centre, I had visions of finding an appointment in one of their other centres in London or Manchester then discovering there was a RMT strike and no trains.
