Default refitting rear view mirror.

Have just had my windscreen replaced and had one of the heated screens put in, while he was putting the new screen in I took off the metal mounting bracket for the rear view mirror ready to glue back on.
Problem is I took it off quickly so it didn't disappear with the old screen and now I go to refit it, I cant figure out which way to secure it
There is two longer edges which make it specific to how it goes on.

Have had a search on here trying to find a picture of the bracket but cannot find one, does anybody have a pic they can put on here so I can glue it back on.

Many thanks. Steve.

if I understand you the metal part has 3 lugs on it, put one in the 6 o'clock position. The other 2 should then be right.
my camera can't take a picture as car is facing the sun and as its a non runner I cant move it, sorry

Maybe I am over thinking this but it is just the two longer edges on the metal bracket, I didn't want to glue it to the windscreen and find out its upside down!

Steve.

have a look at the inside of the mirror and the position of the three tabs should correspond with the lugs on the mirror boss

Many thanks. Steve.
I wonder how you got on with this? I too replaced my cracked screen with a heated one from Rick-Sta but there was no boss fitted.

Where do you position the boss onto the new screen?
