I wonder if we'll see the dismissal of cheerleaders from american sports too. Half the colleges would close down of that happened.

Personally I thought the 'dolly birds' got in the way of the sport, never really been interested in the build up programming or the post match analysis. Just the main event for me, but business is business.

Think of all the excitement and interesting people they might get to speak to. Even meet potential partners with the same interests. Now all going to be denied to them.---

They interviewed a grid girl on the radio this evening, she said it wasn’t her main form of employment so it didn’t matter that much as far as earning a living went. But, she did know girls who relied on it for income.

More PC b0lox that we all have to endure.

The problems would be that DIY stores would be forced to close on weekends, scrap yards would be full to capacity and divorce rates would soar.

Very true, the country would come to an abrupt standstill with the PC brigade running around like headless chickens

if attractive women on the starting grid is objectionable what about woman on TV?
It is not often you see a very fat unattractive woman presenting the news and similar programs. Same goes with tv series I have seen from the states, slim and attractive by large in the main.
Are these woman not there in part because of their looks?

As for F1, who is now going to hold the umbrellas?

Wonder what will happen with the tour de france and those pretty girls in yellow dresses, replaced by a couple of hairy bikers kissing the winners

I understand they are seen as objects by some but its them that have th power over there earnings and well being. We all prostitute our selves for th great god money.

I understand it's called 'the objectification of women'. In that context, and even being a still conscious male, I have to say I agree. So, look forward to boxing matches with no referee, cricket with no umpire. After all, what's good for the goose....
