Instead of banning women or removing women (not sure what the correct PC term is!) from F1 or other sports, why not give women the choice? Now there's new concept. Let the women decide if they want to be Grid Girls or not.

The irony is, the powers the be are TELLING the women what to do!

I think they do already decide themselves. Never seen any arm twisting.--

More PC b0lox that we all have to endure.
So as the money didn't have much importance did she say why she acted as a grid girl ????

I know that men and women bodybuilders like to show off their bodies.

They actually compete against one another. Perhaps the Grid Girls like to show off their bodies. And why not I say if they want to.

It's human nature for girls to flaunt their bodies and human nature for men to look.

The grid girl saga seems just be a money saving idea. They could save an enormous amount of money by making the drivers do their own pit stop. Now THAT would really add some interest and compensate for the lack of grid girls. The girls could make and supply the tea for those sweating drivers.----

The BBC interviewed a girl on TV yesterday afternoon..pretty red head if anyone saw it..she said, people don't see the work they do in the background, promotions, charity work she was personally gutted about it and said finally, we spend very little time on the grid..

So they spend the day hanging around the f1 grid, shoulder to shoulder with all the teams and drivers, appearing on TV, and get paid to do it? And all they have to do, is hold an umbrella, and smile for the cameras? In the interests of fairness and equality, I would like to apply to be a grid guy. I may not be so photogenic, but I'll give the Lycra a go. Don't even need paying
