Default Replacement IPK LCD unit with improved design.

Hi Rick,

Will you please put my name down for one unit.
I will send a PM regarding my Australian Domicile.
Congratulations on your successful perseverance.

Would it be possible to deline some of the better displays you receive for replacement and sell them on for home assembly rather than just bin them?

No, won't be, that is "standard" too

David
Yes all the v8 models have the digital speedometer as standard, but don't have fuel range and MPG. However I did have a prototype v8 here a while ago (think it was vin no. 2 from memory) that shows all the options on the highline IPK that you'd find on a non-v8 models and it all worked i.e. fuel range, MPG. Was surprised to see that.

If I can remove the screen without breaking any of the contacts in the desoldering process and it doesn't have many lines I can then refit them to another cluster. But for the price of supplying a used screen with fitting and delining you'd be better off going for a new one, as the deline repair can be a bit hit and miss how well it works.

A great achievement, well done.
Do you think you will get a second batch made?
you are not going to want everyone sending you their clusters at once so I assume we will be given dates to send them to you. What is your expected turn around time?

Cheers

Hopefully not soon after this batch, should definitely be doing a 2nd batch before the end of the year.

Aha no I will be booking slots in for fittings including for the ones being posted to me. I don't fancy 70-80 boxes turning up in one go I only need the cluster for a day or two.
