Ivy's wishes were not to have a funeral and to be cremated. We are then at a later date (travel restrictions permitted) going to take Ivy's ashes to be laid to rest in her home town in Northamptonshire.
So sorry to hear this Jeff - sincere condolences to Ros & yourself from Angela & I.
RIP Ivy

Morning Ian and everyone else - another sunny one, albeit with a cool breeze. As Ian says, the forecast for later in the week is definitely an Autumnal one. The leaves are turning and dropping already here.

Default Underseal

Just got the Pearl back from having the underseal refreshed by Marshalls Performance Cars, from what I can see they have done a very good job,
Many Thanks Chris.

Evening all

Phase 1 of the decorating project nearly complete,Lounge just need some colour on the walls, then its the hall, followed by the spare bedroom(no one has slept in it since it was last done),then finally the kitchen needs a freshening up

Then I can go fishing,if we are not locked down again.

Soon I'll find repose

And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Evening all, It's looked like it would chuck it down all day but it's held off, I managed to assemble two sides of the greenhouse this afternoon which I wasn't looking forward to as I didn't label owt when I dismantled it. It took a bit of head scratching to work out where all the parts went.

Old greenhouse nuts & bolts are exactly the same as old car nuts & bolts! They snap Good job I had plenty left over from a bagful I bought off ebay when I got the other greenhouse.

Bangers, Mash & mushy peas for tea tonight.

Sometimes a waterproof marker pen can be quick and very useful in those sorts of situations.

Morning all - notice I didn't say "good", 'cos it's not.
  • It's 6.25am and I'm out of bed - unearthly hour!
  • It's dark outside
  • It's wet outside - and is continuing to persist it down
  • ......
and I'm on the 'daft o'clock' school run this morning

Think I'll go back to bed when I get home just after 9.00am

Morning Rod, morning all....

Not looking too nice here either.

A little rain at sunrise, stopped now but still looking like more to come

Autumn has arrived it would seem.
