Afternoon all, Well I managed to assemble the difficult end frame with the sliding door, talk about a jigsaw puzzle It's all ready to bolt together when I can persuade my missus to give us a lift I'm not holding me breath though as she's glued to the front of the fire in this weather.

I've a few nuts & bolts left over but I've since seen where they go & I'm not dismantling it again to fit them, I'll do a work around to secure the frame.

I've had enough for today, me lugs are ready for dropping off in this cold wind.

I got some home made pea & ham soup out of the freezer this morning, that's going to go down a treat.

A fortnight ago today, when I went out for the morning papers, the car was showing the outside temperature as 23°C
This morning it was 9°C -with northerly wind which probably dropped that a bit more

Time to hibernate I think - now have I stored up enough body fat to last me through the Winter

I'm just running a hot bath to soak my cold aching bones, kneeing down kills me these days & I've mixed a hot toddy to take with me purely medicinal I should add.
I've managed to get an hair appointment for next Wednesday but I'm not holding out much hope if they#'ll be open with all these restrictions.

Ah - but would we let you into Yorkshire - are your papers in order; do you speak the language ?

I nearly cracked this morning and headed for the heating switch

It's alright for you rich people - you can afford to
I am sure they would let me in,I have been known to bowl a few maidens over in my time.

As for being rich,I must own up,my middle name is Richard, which could open a right old can of worms

I could always lend you a groat or two

Cool

Good sunny evening to everyone. Current temperature is 19.5. So no heating on tonight.

Took 3 large canvas bags of garden rubbish to the tip this morning. Came back and started to dig out around the camila tree. Now have another 3 canvas bags of garden rubbish to take to the tip on Monday.
Still more to be turned over or taken out around the tree.

Hoping to cut the grass tomorrow, so more to take to the tip.
