Morning, looks bright & dry out there, don’t suppose it’ll last. Feels cold in the house this morning, I suppose it might just take a bit of warming up after what it’s been through recently

Damp with spots rain but still no sign of the promised deluge..
Day in front of the TV today with Eurosport player showing the whole 12 race BSB meeting live from Donington Park. Just been treated to one heck of a great sidecar race in damp conditions. Enjoy your day everyone no matter what you are doing.. Cheers Ian

Good morning all from the tropics, we are back from the coast and both doing well. I am going to get myself checked out for prostate trouble, it’s my age
The V6 celebrated its 22nd birthday on the 2nd October, it’s MOT runs out on Wednesday and the road tax runs out at the end of the month. How is Deb? Please pass on our best wishes for a speedy recovery. Last edited by Gate Keeper; 5th October 2020 at 04:44.. |

Evening all, It turned out quite nice this afternoon with some sunshine, Lots of standing water about though from yesterdays monsoon.
I managed to get a dozen or so panes of glass installed in the greenhouse so getting there slowly. Must be good to get back to normal in your house Colin after such a long time. We bought a shedload of Chicken Kiev's from one of those 'freezer factories' It was a gamble as to the quality of them but they're excellent so we had some with baked spuds & mixed veggies, Even got three dozen Scottish meat pies for about £3 They're very good too. I can see me making a pig of meself in the coming weeks Red hot bath to ease the cream crackered back & now a few bottles of Henry's cider.

Evening all, might contemplate building a boat if this rain carries on much longer, 320 mile round trip today and it never stopped once!
Driving isn’t nice in bad conditions, especially when you get folk not using headlights and driving at 80+ mph.

Morning all, reading about the bad weather in the UK and crazy driving in terrible weather is something else for anyone having to deal with. Bad driving is global, I am not sure what the answer is. Keep safe.
I have to take my MacBook Pro laptop in for repair today as the screen has completely packed up. It’s not cracked, starts up okay but no picture, duh On checking with the 4x4 group on Facebook on why the temp needle doesn’t move from cold on my 4x4, they are suggesting a thermostat sensor electrical wiring fault. They posted photos on how to do the fix, looked simple Then I have to collect medication for Jessica’s eyes and then come back and have a rest. Have a great day |
