Normally you can pop on your wellies and walk under that bridge

The swans are where the river actually is.....

And there's more rain forecast.

Morning Jeff and Bob - clear skies here this morning, but pretty cool - central heating is in danger of being switched on if the sun doesn't come up and warm things.
I'm on the 'NOT so daft o'clock' school run today - leave the house at 7.50 and back home by 9.00

On 24 October, we are flying to Cape Town to check on the building of a conversion we are putting up on the family farm overlooking Gordon’s Bay and the Cape of Good Hope. Health care is better and cheaper in South Africa, than in Kenya and my aneurysms will be rescanned at The Christiaan Bernard Memorial Hospital with the problem we discussed.

As winter approaches in the UK, hopefully you won’t be hit by the doom and gloom of bad and cold weather. I know you sometimes have to walk the school run of 3 miles? I have always admired your determination
