Evening all, Cheers Steve, Bob, We rang Bolton general this afternoon & she had an X-Ray today & her hip is broken, She's on gas and in no pain and she's having surgery tomorrow
The battery for my mobile phone turned up today from China so I can now open an account with the house insurers and they can send a SMS message to it to activate it It's really surprising how a mobile phone is needed for lots of things in life nowadays.

Roast chicken thighs with roasted root veg for tea tonight

It's time for a bottle or two of Henry's I think.

Good morning Ian, thank goodness your mum is being fast tracked for the hip replacement/repair today, bless her heart. Jessica and I send our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Morning all, yesterday our Covid tests came back negative and we are checked in for our flight tonight at 05:00 a.m to Cape Town.

After we checked in online, we received an email from Ethiopian Airlines telling us in the battle against Covid-19, we are to wear a face mask at all times in the airport and on the plane. We are not to take any cabin bags onto the plane, except a ladies purse, a laptop, babies essentials and medication is allowed. I saw on the seat plan, how passengers are being separated by an empty seat next to them, I feel reassured.

What’s everyone up to?

Morning Phil, morning all.

Safe journey tonight Phil, sounds like the airline are taking sensible and correct precautions regarding Covid-19.

Morning Phil, Thank you for the kind wishes. We got a bit more information yesterday evening & it's a partial hip replacement surgery she's having today. We've arranged with staff to drop off some stuff for today & the insurance loss guy is coming between 9:00am & 12:00.

Good morning everyone from soggy Cornwall.

There is a sunrise, in the distance.

Into town today to the PO to send some stuff off.
