Steering wheel vibration damper!
Out of curiosity really!
Apparently fitted to early diesel automatics. Looks like a gold painted lead plate that fits into the steering wheel, under the airbag. Anyone?

That part number wasn't recognised when I searched Rimmers.
Can a picture of it be found anywhere please? If it is lead, then it's probably a casting, like boat sacrificial anodes. Reason I ask is possibility of making one, I'm interested. Regards Mike
